.hello..i exist..hardly...

just to inform you all, i'm still here, still computerless (although this will be over this week), and still have so much to tell you all...although i wish that i could sit down over a cup of coffee (today i'd take it iced, and we'd sit outside at city park...it's finally beautiful here..) and talk for hours, but the internet will have to do.

I'm going to Uganda July 7-22. I'll be working in Northern Uganda. I'm going with a team of 6 medical professionals to work in a refugee camp with Sudanese, Congolese, and Ugandian IDP's, we will work in the camp 4 days a week and go visit the dying in hospitals 2 days a week. There is much much more to tell. I want to bring you with me, I want to share with you my first African experience, my first refugee camp and the first time I actually get to practice nursing as I've dreamed for the past few years (which will be quite refreshing from the clean and beautiful, recently refurbished, technologically advanced and intenstive unit i work on right now).

there is so much more to tell, but i have 2 minutes remaining on my session and there happens to be a rather loud nose breather sitting right next to me which is driving me insane.
